genderless
They hacked his geneHe no longer has his gene
The gene of love
But love for which gene?
Love for my wife’s gene
But if all women potentially
Have the same gene
Then what’s the point of having a gene
That doesn’t differentiate any of them?
I hadn’t anticipated that it would be this gene
That you’d love in me
What I loved in you was what never changed
The gene of the gene-less
