Dreamland
He looks at her. Has he caught her eye? She seems to be keen
To pretend that she hasn't, staring, instead at her laptop screen.
He goes home certain that they will be lovers someday. They'll
Be wrapped up together and giddy. She comes outside, somewhat
Later, to wait for her boyfriend to come. She has nothing in mind,
Except her belief he'll propose.
