loved his job though not a workaholic. The other was very lazy he will go late in
the morn and come back early in the afternoon his family blamed him for been

farm If not she would have. Their farms are next to one another. There is a
special week in the village when strangers will always come to buy foodstuffs
directly from the farmers. There has always been a famine in other villages in the
northern part of the country they will have to come to the southern. It is this
period the farmers will start harvesting. The hardworking farmer called his
workers, they started, and they worked day and night to make sure they have
enough to sell to the strangers. But the lazy farmer work as usual not caring
about the period. On the fifth day of the week afternoon he was going home he
saw an old man they call him the wise one. He is well respected by all in the
village. He told lazy man that it is too early for him to leave the farm that he should
go back and work because he is sure that the strangers will pass the village at
night and that he make sure he sleeps in his farm to wait for the strangers. He
listened to man but he didn't go back to the farm because of his laziness but at
night he decided to go and sleep in the farm to wait for the stranger. As the wise
one went past the hard worker's farm he called the farmer he told him (the
farmer) that he had enough harvest that he should come at night cause he is sure
that the strangers will come at night cause he is sure that the strangers will come
at night. The farmer laughed and said that it is impossible, all these years the
stranger have been come in the day, they can never come in the night, old man
go home and sleep. He told the wise one.
At night the strangers came they saw the lazy farmer who had little to sell. They
couldn't buy from the hard worker because he was not around and apart from that
was tired he slept like sleeping beauty. When the next day came he nearly
fainted if I had listened to the advise of the wise one I would have been richer
than this he thought. The lazy one cried if he had worked even more than how the
wise one told him he would have become richer. Both of them in their farms
trying to make the past come back. The old man passed their farms and he
laughed at them. They ran after the old man for more advise the wise one
gave them none.
