We all ask "what if?" But what if we ask too many "what if's"? Or what if these questions open our eyes?

No More What If's

No more what if's
No more unfulfilled dreams
and empty promises
Please - just no more. Stop tormenting me.

What if you had not been a star?
What if I could reach you,
Hold you, love you?
None of these. Please - no more what if's.

You were like an angel
So beautiful but
I did not deserve your radiance
It hurts. Please - help my heart heal.

What if you had been like me -
A mortal?
Would I love you the same?
This hurts the most. Please - no more what if's.

What if's always hurt!!
So do never close your eyes to look back, look straight forward to not miss anything that doesnt contain the question What if...
A good poem here!!

What if you had been like her? Immortal and radiant?
