We all ask "what if?" But what if we ask too many "what if's"? Or what if these questions open our eyes?
No more unfulfilled dreams
and empty promises
Please - just no more. Stop tormenting me.
What if you had not been a star?
What if I could reach you,
Hold you, love you?
None of these. Please - no more what if's.
You were like an angel
So beautiful but
I did not deserve your radiance
It hurts. Please - help my heart heal.
What if you had been like me -
A mortal?
Would I love you the same?
This hurts the most. Please - no more what if's.
