I love someone from far away, like a star, so fanciful and unreachable. My heart belongs to a star.
This star hides from me in the day
I feel my heart has turned away
But when that star is in the night sky
My heart has returned, my love renewed, in one sigh
I am glad that my heart has found
A home in the heavens, where it looks down
For if my heart is in one star at night
My love is strong and all stars seem bright
But if my heart and love has gone cold
All the light in the sky is dark, dead and old
My heart belongs to a star
