The New World
They had such a hope, strong and fierya passionate desire of their being
Before crossing those seas
of nothingness and broken dreams
I also have a hope (in what I cannot see)
that in the ocean I cross
The ocean of the heart
will be much more than nothingness
As I adventure into space
into the moon and the stars (my heart)
All I know is a love that
knows no bounds, or science or measure
For what is more foolish than love?
Or more beautiful or worthwhile?
Love is torture and tragedy, but also a fulfilled dream
a heart so bright and pure and brilliant
And in that sea, in those stars, in your smile
I will adventure through the new world, with you
