In Lamentation
I long for you in all the darkened cornersThat's all I can do For I am a child of fate.
In my heart's deep valleys
have the plasma of green memories,
In all the lanes and alleys
I loiter and brood unconsoled
In every smile and sigh
I remember you, my angel of the dreams.
Your figure's towering high
A vision of my subconscious mind.
I long for you,
In all the bevy beauties swaying past,
That's all I can do
For this world's full of hate;
For men decry men
with colours, castes and creeds.
A stroke of my pen
Wont teach them it's but skin deep.
