So Shall I Speak (modified with refrain)
Children cryingPeople dying
Mother's sighing
Worlds dividing
Where is the love that brings?
Us peace
Where is the hope that all hate
Will cease.
Answers to war is what I seek,
So through it all, so shall I speak.
Tortured souls play a game
Which rules
And fools
Each one the same
Death blasts
Throughout the skies
Fire
Rains
Down
Upon
Innocent eyes.
Burning the flesh
Of those who die
Fighting against
One's
Brother.
Where is the love that brings?
Us peace
Where is the hope that all hate
Will cease.
Answers to war is what I seek,
So through it all, so shall I speak.
Sisters mourn
Father's pain
Sons are lying
Under falling rains
Of rockets and missiles
That rush to kill
All that power
And
All that skill
All that was made
To destroy
And
Fill
The skies with death darts,
Bombs blasting
No more praying,
No more fasting.
All is now
And
Everlasting
Death.
Where is the love that brings?
Us peace
Where is the hope that all hate
Will cease.
Answers to war is what I seek,
So through it all, so shall I speak.
