A broken heart will certainly heal, but scaees remain
There's a magpie on my window sill
Chirping a tune I have heard before
As is sit to listen to that tune, that sweet melody
Calling me, beckoning me come hither
Telling me assuring me
The trust will never be broken and love will always stay
Whispering promises life long surprises
I shall endure throughout
Come little magpie chirp on my window
Sing in you sweet voice a melody not heard too well
A cry, anguish, a pain
Telling me, calling me go run hide far away
The lies that were said, the trust was broken
Can never be mended again
Whispering, encouraging be strong
Life is not filled with surprises
There are lesson to be endured throughout
Sweet little magpie
Still crying on my window
Telling me, assuring me – hold on
Whispering prodding me have courage – go on
Promising don't give up better times are ahead
I'll hold onto that promise magpie my dear
I'll go on how difficult it may be
And fight to survive I know I can win

Song of a Broken Heart
There's a magpie on my window sill
Chirping a tune I have heard before
As is sit to listen to that tune, that sweet melody
Calling me, beckoning me come hither
Telling me assuring me
The trust will never be broken and love will always stay
Whispering promises life long surprises
I shall endure throughout
Come little magpie chirp on my window
Sing in you sweet voice a melody not heard too well
A cry, anguish, a pain
Telling me, calling me go run hide far away
The lies that were said, the trust was broken
Can never be mended again
Whispering, encouraging be strong
Life is not filled with surprises
There are lesson to be endured throughout
Sweet little magpie
Still crying on my window
Telling me, assuring me – hold on
Whispering prodding me have courage – go on
Promising don't give up better times are ahead
I'll hold onto that promise magpie my dear
