Just an urge to up and go to be a tease
If I should die today and to heaven I go
I'll write your name on every star I see
Your picture on the moon I'll hang
So when you look up
You'll know I'm there
I will draw your face on all passing clouds
The wind will blow and your name shall whisper
I shall pass you by on a rainbow seated
Where I will wave and shout to you below
Your smile just to see
If I should die today and to paradise I go
I will write your name on every flower I see
Your picture on every bough I'll hang
So when you are out
You'll know I'm there
In you garden I will red roses drop
Paved with violets you side walk shall be
Great dandelion your windows I'll deck
Your pathway swaying with daises white
A carpet of tulips for every step you take
If I die today and to heaven I go
I'll write your name on that golden gate
Angels will carry your picture around
Sweetly they'll sing my song to you
So when you hear them
You'll know I'm there
Golden candles in your room I'll light
Angels with harps around your bed will sing
The music they play will bring to your mind
The love we shared not too long ago
Though the love you had for me has died
Mine for your will never die
Like a flame to a torch it will stay right along
Even though I die today
My love for you will never die

An Urge
