A tribute to my friend who passed away some months back under tragic circumstances
"Whilst the pangs of death are hard to bear
This is a journey we all must take
The pain, the sorrow the living will bear,
But slowly with time it eases away
Your soul is free and you are homeward bound
Smile my friend, for paradise you have found
The last day i remember as i held your hand
and shared with you this secret wish
I will meet you again one day soon i hope
The friendship we share is not at end,
And when i do come i will bring with me more stories for you
Where we shall sit among the clouds and laugh and talk as we did before
You have just but gone ahead me, so reserve our place and hold on to it.
I am coming my friend, you are not alone
I will sing your song like you asked me to.
Smile my friend peace at last you have found.
Now rest awhile in the bosom of the Lord, To see his face
How happy you will be, So smile my friend
And now ask the Lord to free me too, so we can again together be.
Smile my friend, you are in better place than I.
I wish i could just swap that place with you but you are the lucky one and not yet me.
So go on now take care, what will i do without you.
I will do like yu asked no doubt about that, my promise is strong you know that.
So smile my friend, Smile you rest in peace.
I love you so much my childhood friend. - Farewell
