Thoughts
Sitting at the seaside and gazing at the Ocean
It's so cool and so calm just brings up my past
The pain still lingers, the hurt stills stays
Though scars are slowly fading
The cheating, the lying, and awful tantrums
Spiteful words, which shattered the trust
It's over now and I have leant from it
So we have a story – A story of US
The wave's rolls up and thrash the rocks
Bringing up echoes of pleasanter times
Where there was love, laughter and fun
A passion we shared and the flame still burns
Where we'll pack a bag, and wonder away
Where I'll wash and dust, and mend for you
You'll love me dearly, and tell me so!
So we have a story – A story of US
The waves smoothly glide-up onto the sand
Its cold sprays hit slowly upon my face
I am up on my feet and open my eyes
Stupid and naïve to dwell in the past
To re-call sad memories, is not what you will want
Time to let go and never feel sad
I know someday when you are aged
Lounging in your wicker chair
You'll have a story to think about
This beautiful story only of US
