Deeper
Simple silence
At water's edge,
Curled leaf
Floating
Un-rippled
reflection,
today
over rocks
and mossed
decaying wood-
A pace, a race
Churns
Spills angry
Water's fury.
One more
Slight curve
-cold water
so deep
in this
dark place-
Peaceful.
Turgid
Tension,
-released
in calmness.
Darker waters
quiet sleep
-at last...
