incurable romantic that i am, it had to be....inspired by a picture of lover's in the rain

Rain

Whispered raindrops falling
Softly on our skin
Embraces the night before us
Our hearts consider sin

The summer's heat surrounds us
It warms the hearts within
Our lips so close to touching
Inhaling the forbidden

Umbrella-staged enchantment
Our souls and hearts akin
Locked in covered shelter
A beating rain love-in

Abandonment in liquid
Bodies pressed together
Face to face allurement
Awash in showered splendor
