Disconnection Brain

When my brain says disconnect
and my little grey goes wild
my head empties except for one big thought:
I'm a lonely child.

I find it difficult to believe
that i'm worth anything
in this endless universe
this huge thing.

My body gets consumed by sorrow
when people tells me to do a funny thing
and i think: Sing idiot! sing!

I realize then
that i'm caught in a vicious
sircle.

I have a normal size brain
the universe is as endless
as my headache causing pain!
So why does even the centre of the universe
feel so damned, hurting!
Alone!

Hi poe_t,
Another lonely poem filled with your pain. Very sad..
Try "worth anything" instead and "vicious circle" - "headache", "center" is U.S. spelling, "centre" is GB spelling - your choice..

chasingtheday The PoetBay support member heart!
some spelling errors in the text, but a good piece. we all get lonely, it's how we deal with it that matters. ok we live ina big universe/multiverse, but that oesn't mean we are not important. we are all unique.
