Stranger's Song
There's a house on the other side of the street.
There are people I really long to meet.
There are souls, fragile and strong.
To all these strangers I dedicate this song.
There's the girl with the saddest smile,
as if she's alone on a deserted isle.
There's the boy with the heart of stone,
doesn't care for anyone elses but his own.
There's a man that longs to be a woman,
fighting society's judgmental demon.
There's a woman gasping for breath,
hurting and longing for death.
There's a gentleman with contented look,
never regretted the oppurtunities he never took.
There's a lady with a cat,
and a major, beautiful hat.
To all these strangers I dedicate this song.
These are souls, fragile as strong.
These are people I really long to meet.
They live in the house on the other side of the street.
