My family learned much from this delightful man and will miss him very much. Our hearts and prayers go out to his family and all who loved him.
A shock of blonde hair in his eyes
he told us stories
to make us wise
to the world of animals
and all their worth
from the tiniest insect
to a hippo's girth
he shared his passion
his family, his love
he saw beauty in the croc
as well as the dove
he loved all creatures
great and small
he respected God's handiworkd
one and all
His sudden departure
is so hard to take
no more wrestling
a gator or venomous snake
no longer rolling around in the dirt
no longer mudding his khaki shirt
His spirit freed by a creature of earth
into Heaven Steve has been birthed
to know all the mysteries of creation
the Lord himself will give the revelation

Tribute to Steve The Croc Man
Crikey!A shock of blonde hair in his eyes

to a hippo's girth
