I wish my life like this

I wish my life like this,
with wide open nights full of meaning,
sunshine in the mornings with silences,
my days close to the earth and near
to shape and stone, work with my hands
and live with a companion who cares,
protects me from the outside world.

Food should be simple, pure, essential,
Cold water for my drink. A dreamless sleep,
as near to death after a profound tiredness
and orange sunsets for my soul. Each day

a prayer, comes each day a new one, inspired
by all things, any new love. I will be
like a fruit, that, when I'm ripe enough,
let myself fall to where God catches me,
once again.

Well put. And I agree, except for the God part.

Hello,

I found this poem a very hopeful one. Hope and trust. I find the picture you paint soothing. I feel like adopting it for myself. Words I need, but have not been able to write. Yet.

Thank you!
