My thoughts and feelings upon seeing the replays of newscasts of 9-11-01
I'm seeing it all again
though I don't want to
I can't draw myself away
it calls to me to return to that
day
when all hell broke loose and
the devil came upon our land in a rage
to show his hate of our freedom
to show his disgust of our ways
my heart pounds
I cannot calm it
but to look away from
the scenes would be denial
of a reality we can no longer afford
to ignor
or play off as a movie we've viewed
as entertainment.
This isn't fun. This is true. It slaps you
in the face with indignation. You must see
this for what it is, a thousand demons
unleashed killing babies, killing kids!
Look and see, it isn't new. Don't you know
they've done it to others too? If you did'nt,
well now you do.
Don't turn your back. Watch it all
and remember. See how it feels this time
when those towers fall.
Now, get on your knees
ask God
to help this world
please.
