Another Girlfriend poem, i guess we have alot of issues...

Window Romance

Tragic battle.
My body strikes out;
my mind lashes back
At war with myself.

Your presence. Your love.
My body wants,
my mind embraces.
It cannot be.

I choke it down, shove it back.
Strangle my body
Suffocate the mind.
This cannot be.

Your eyes strike at me, so inviting.
Scratch mine out won't you please,
Rid me of them.
This will never be.

Collapsing reality.
Body falls away,
Mind disintegrates.
I will make this be.

**** Society.
I will embrace you,
my mind and body.
This has to be
my one true sanity.

Who tells us what and what not to?
It is ourselves as we let the world around us filter into our determination. In the end we ourselves make the choice.
