Windows of Past

Looking through the fogged glass of yesterday.
Trying to find the heart of today.
Peering through the fire of tomorrow.
Eliminating pain and sorrow.

Straining to get the soul of youth.
Wondering about everyone's truth.
Grueling battles of love and hate
All to win that one debate.

Empty conversations of dreams and fear,
Trying to grasp it when all is clear.
Formidable enemies that won't leave you alone
When all you want to do is go home.

Late nights passing
No thought in mind.
Just trying to leave the past
Behind.

as we look at things sometimes, meditation takes us far. As we meditate we do ponder and recall some memories. some are sweet and many bitter. You did explain that well.
