segregation

we segregate ourselves
into molecules
of loneliness

we diverse ourselves
into specimens
of difference

we try our best
to find the truths
within ourselves

but segregation
and diversion
keep us from finding it

isn't that the truth . . . you know it's funny that when we need to "find ourselves" we have to seclude ourselves from the things we know best. But we do it so often that i wonder if that's really the way it's supposed to be.
