God bless America
I am the sea salty thumb
in you blue sore eye,
in your fat, fairy illusion
of a world without inconsistency,
where American weapons
of deadly distant discrepancy
don't make beautiful pictures on CNN.
The death of innocent women and children
are simply trampled on
by the mob of more money.
Arabs get what they deserve,
civilians or not.
They are not white,
they don't live next door
and their dying does not make the news.
So let us all cleanse the world of unbelievers,
those unwaspy beings that are not with us,
those who are not in favour
of the American way
of selling more arms for the freedom
of making more money at any cost,
of keeping the poor bastards poor
because it's good for the economy
and they probably deserve it anyway.
Let second class citizens
fill the coffins of the yearly parade,
let the prosperous prosper
and the poor pave the way,
sweat in shops and die too young.
Katrina did a good job.
Let's hope that soon
there is more fury
rolling in from the rich sea.
Let us get rid of the annoying
shanty town dwellers, grey and grovelling,
let us erase all them that
doesn't adhere to the gospel of Bush
and the rest of the psychotic fundamentalist
right wing Christian inhuman hypocrisy.
Let us all treat the less fortunate ones
and all those of the wrong colour,
wrong creed or wrong nationality,
– unless they are our rich and powerful friends
like the Ladens or any other
fat tycoon of importance –
with all the disrespect they deserve.
The ghosts of Arlington
mumble in wet autumn despair
as principles of free air to all
crumble and die
beneath the boots of the world police.
God bless America.
