UNTIL DEATH AND BEYOND
Green meadow grass are breathing slow.
Sunshine clouds shadowing tombstone-row.
You forgot to say goodbye, my dear.
And now you reached another sphere.
An old oaktree will guard your stone,
in the company of squirrels and birds.
Remember that you are never alone,
surrounded by memories and words.
The lake in which we used to swim.
The glade we made love in.
Years ago, still yesterday.
I guess I'll be on my way.
Sing with me, say some prayers.
I follow the light, I'll walk up the stairs.
I treasure our memories more than life.
Here I come my beloved wife.
