Just Talk To Him
When all else fails, we prayWhy must we make it that way
Why not pray from the start
An honest plea from the heart
It is what Our Father has asked
It isn't that great a task
Just a few words His way
Would be a better start to our day
A sorry now and then
Would cover a multitude of sins
And a thank you every night
Would set so many things right
Just a few words true and simple
You need not be in a temple
Just pray wherever you are
God will hear, He isn't far
Like a child He said to be
Crawl up and sit on His knee
And tell him what's on your mind
Don't worry He'll find the time
