Reflection
Can you sit still and look at your lifeStare into the mirror, deep into your own eyes
Ask yourself the question, ask yourself why
Do you find answers, can you recognize the lie
Can you tell me what you would do
When finally confronted with the truth
Would you just get up and go, pack all your things and move
Run off to someplace remote where no one knows you
Seriously, do you think that would help you escape
Everything would change if you were in a different place
I doubt that anything at all would change
You'd still wear the same guilty look on your face
Your conscience would still carry the weight of shame
