Some of these you may never of heard of !!!! I know them all
Even more so are six or seven
A Chocolate Toffee goes down a treat
A turkish Delight is hard to beat
A Walnut Whip or Almond Cluster
Will always pass the taste buds' muster
So too, will it seems,
Half a dozen Orange Creams
These feature high in many dreams
As could an Acid Drop,With just a hint
Of Apple, Pear or Peppermint
A soft Nougat or Coconut Ice
Can be described as "Rather nice"
To suck and chew and slurp and savour
The vast varieties of flavour
Arrayed in splendour for you to taste
Not to do so would be such a waste
So just imagine your ideal bliss
An endless mound of that and this
Of Cherry Cups and Caramel Toffee
Of Spearmint Chews or Rum and Coffee
Of Lollypops and Sherbet Dips
Or Jelly Babies and Chocolate Chips
Of Dolly Mixtures or Peanut Brittle
Of vast amounts or just a little
Of mounds and heaps and piles of treats
To satisfy your lust for sweets
All this going down one way
But STOP and think awhile, I pray
There is a dark tide underneath
For In future when you smile
You'll have no teeth
