Photograph
I look closely at your photographGirl your so damn beautiful
I stare mostly at the smile you have
And I wish that I was smiling too
I wonder when this picture was taken
You seem to be so carefree
Nervously my hand begins shaking
And your photo falls away from me
I see it spiral to the ground
Landing in the mud, ruined by the earth
Shocked I cannot make a sound
Frantically I try cleaning it with my shirt
But the face in the picture is lost
Destroyed by dirt stains
In my mind though, your image will never be forgot
Unlike the photograph that no longer remains
