every night       a day dies

~

It is because I know

A pain  beyond every second that parted us     that

My home   are these wings

Killer       you are     hiding

In the arch   of a boys smile

Sacrificing  truth

Slivering  what is left of the color red

In your hands   my heart lies    still

Never to be returned to the girl     in me

Grieving           in shades of gray

Yesterday came   with winter         and white

Odorous of blood     from the slaughtered

Unicorn   outside your dream

How silent are these oceans now

Older than any heartbeat is the sea that never sleeps

May I please borrow your breath     until the

Echo of my flight can simulate the red  I once owned ?

This is so painful. And I don't know what more can be said
