Dan you are one of my dearest and oldest friend on the bay...Your poems always stir me to the core; your sorrows grieve me even more...I wish you all the happiness today!

Daybreaker–Dan, my friend

My friend of sorrow, my friend of grief
A troubled soul, a tender leaf
Hanging on to the bough of life,
Life precarious, full of strife...

Deep inside your spirit needs
A friendship true, true love indeed.
But happiness eludes you all along
Your heart can never sing a song...

Traumas of past haunt you soul
Anguish torments you as a whole
Sorrow is your other name
Joy your way never came...

I wish all the joy for you,
Peace of mind and soul to you
Happy Birthday, Dan my friend
May your heart and soul soon mend...
