"what will your hands do today? love or hate?"
put on a show
pretend you're a friend
we all really know
why you are there
to make me laugh or cry
do you even care
do you even try
if your picture could talk
do u know what it'd say
it would call you a fake
it would turn you away
you think you're all that
but you're just so-so
just stop all your lying
please would you go
you played with my heart
like its a game
if you were smart
you'd see we're the same
what is beauty
is it being hot
or being a cutie
i think not
how can you judge
without seeing inside
you indifference hurts
but i will not hide
you laugh because im different
i laugh because you're the same
if we all could be civil
the world would be quite tame
who really acts
like the people on tv
they're a fraud, they're a fake
they are nothing like me
we get labeled by what
we say and we do
by who we hang out with
whether or not we're like you
i am who i am
now look at me
im not the same as you
and that is the key
its not how you are
on the outside but in
so come to our side
and this war we will win
so remember this now
it is not very fun
to be turned down
now my poem is done
