Elements hold a great fascination for poets. With these poems we are starting the Zoya / Aliena 'Elements' Challenge- each day we will select one of the four 'Elements of Nature'...Today Element is- Earth.
Sometimes I feel I am the Earth (Zoya / Aliena 'Elements' Challenge- Earth)
Sometimes I feel I am the Earth,Bearing the burden of Universe...
All the agony all the sorrows,
All desires all the woes,
Buried deep within my core...
Cool and calm on the surface,
Sure and solid on the face,
But boiling, churning, melting,
Glowing hot in the soul...
Heavy with my anguish,
Burning in my agony,
Pregnant with my sorrow,
Laden with my love,
Silently bearing up,
But, simmering at the core,
Like the silent Fuji Yama,
That doesn't boil-over anymore...

Fragments of Earth II
In your voice's comfort I'll build my nest,
I'll look out from behind your eyelashes,
near your eye's corner I'll tremble
and I'll extend inside your heart.
Like a landscape in springtime I'll stretch out,
from your smile's rising unto its setting.
