Never mind

REALITY IN AFRICA

Glimpse of evil,
Feeding my view
A minute silence can tell
Their footprint so crystal clear
Pleas from the cathedral not enough
Hopefulness on the mastermind
The daily sermon of the saints.
Today come and gone
Deceptiveness waxing more
Turning out in an angelic look
The best image they portray.
Filled with gospel to lean on
And the heavenly grace spearing them
To trod on morality
Yet, deceitfulness they incline to.
Young savant of the land
Sacrificing their gifts
In the greener pastures of life.
Harmony the fears of the future,
And the blood of the righteous crying out
While faiths persist it's pondering
For a way unknown
As my eyes sets to see.
