Forget

I dont want to forget

Forgetting would make me a different person

I want to remember, learn and live

I do not regret who I am

But I still wish things I can not

I agree with you on memories, well certain ones. Why should we forget what has passed, unless foolishly we dwell on a painful memory, then we are just hurting ourselves unnecessarily, these memories should be kept stored and aired only occasionally, but never forgotten, as you say so succinctly in your short verse, we would not be us otherwise. And learning to be and live with ourselves, is the whole in my boook. Thanks for this. Smiling at you, Tai
