Generation Gap
A generation of lighthas arrived,
and I am trapped
in a situation of an encounter.
They are speaking from
the top of their voice.
Perhaps, they are seeking
to bring out the potential they possess.
I am anchoring my words
from the ground of my voice.
Perhaps, I am seeking
to weigh them
in the scale of my thought.
And unable to stand between us
is a pyramid of a conversation.
A silence is sitting adamantly
amidst our shrill voices,
rising out of the quarrel
between our temperament.
A gaping gap is being made.
