The saddest day

This is the saddest day of the year,
the gloomiest day to fear.

You're losing the things you hold dear,
the things you want near.

Black crows are entwining your hair.
Red clouds are bursting in the air.

Your heart is in despair.
You live inside a nightmare.

This is the saddest day of the year,
the gloomiest day to fear.

But you'll find a longing in your heart,
that will lead to a great, new start.
