It is extremely difficult to describe the beauty of this place, and quite possibly this poem is not worthy of it.
As salty spray tingles my nose.
Almighty blue, white laced with foam.
Sweeps treasures on a beach to comb.
The fruits that grow along the street.
Are simply nectar, soft and sweet.
With sensative plants that shy away.
And flowers that tell time of day -
The morning petals so yellow and bright.
Turn orange by suns' midday light.
At tea time they glow crimson red.
By moons fair light, they've fallen dead.
The rainbow eucalyptus trees.
Sway gently in the cooling breeze.
Pinks, browns yellows. Purple and green,
Their trunks are something to be seen.
Great, tall, majestic waterfalls.
That tumble into silver pools.
That reflect forests of gold bamboo.
From which the birds of paradise flew.
So close, you need no ship or sails.
To marvel at the humpback whales.
And swimming in the crystal blue .
The dolphins swim alongside you.
The fishes colours leave you numb.
As you gaze in gods aquarium.
And evening sunsets orange glow.
Brings turtles out, to say hello.
Now sitting down, beneath a palm.
I feel a warming sense of calm.
And wonder at the ban yan tree.
And treasure every memory.

Kauai Hawaii
White gold grains flush through my toes.As salty spray tingles my nose.
Almighty blue, white laced with foam.
Sweeps treasures on a beach to comb.
The fruits that grow along the street.
Are simply nectar, soft and sweet.

And flowers that tell time of day -
