Mythica

we are wrought to be engines of flesh
cycling avatars of bursting energies
building to the consumating entropy;
{She wore a masque of foxglove lace}
faces turn flowering into another sun
tantalizing touch of tendrils dream silhouettes
{a spell of shadows was woven fine as ink spilt}
over the gently sloping hills light ran
catching the beat of hearts upon dissolving stones
{On living anvils of the Night}
Orpheus charm even the rocks and trees
so that they may move again remove with music
these miracles that do not die just yet
{Or sting so sweet as should regret beget}
we raise our arms to the same stars you and I
even as the hours burn our love like dying limbs
avatars of bursting energies
imageries contained in symbols of Heart
we are subjects of the Art
of Life...

David Hazell
Phenomenal imagery. Wonderfully imaginative and well expressed.
