Lump Of Clay
Why not come along and join with Me todayJoin with Me as I spread love, through work and play
Oh, you're too busy, too busy you say
Too busy, too busy, being a lump of clay
You know you can make things lovely and right
If you were to come, come to me tonight
You will never ever realize your total might
If you continue to keep me hidden away out of sight
I work ever hour to help people like you
Who are down and confused as to what to do
Are you feeling like you are in a fog or a zoo
Come, come to Me I will tell you what is true
You are more precious and important than the sparrow
That flies in circles or straight and true like an arrow
Your life in Me can bring relief from pain and sorrow
I will give you My love and hope for today and tomorrow
I will stay and be with you in spirit, soul and mind
I am He the One who will allow you to smile and be kind
I am what I am for you always, forever and for all time
Even when you doubt Me and commit the worst of crimes
I will lift you when you are hopeless, sad and down
I will wipe away all your tears and your sad frown
I will not make you feel unworthy or like a clown
I will listen to your hopes, needs and every sound
Yes, why not come along with Me today
You can help Me love as We work and play
Oh, I am not now or will ever be too busy, I say
To love you My special, precious lump of clay.
