This is dedicated to Stefan.
The day I declared myself to hundreds of people
Who did not know me.
Music drowned voices and deafened my thoughts.
I'd sunk into a surreal kaleidoscope.
I needed this to lift me up,
As I celebrated being seventeen.
In a spin if energies and skin,
I saw you.
He was a million things that had never graced my eyes so beautifully.
He existed from the creative fires of the sun
Kindled by the wind from Gabriel's wings.
His smile was pure, but held secrets
And his eyes were the darkest depths of mystery.
His hair, spun by the essence of the blackest night, fell about his shoulders.
I trusted in the stare that I could not sever from him.
I could not deny that I would know him from
That moment on.
I approached him and he looked into me.
Time stopped.
I could only see him and feel my blood run inside.
The world brightened around us.
He spoke to me and I savoured his
Angel breath on my cheek.
His voice wasn't like music,
It WAS music and I got a new song to sing.
He enfolded me in an embrace and I melted under his warm perfection.
We faced each other, and the simple gesture of my nose slightly touching his allured him to play.
Our golden collision exceeded the easy definition of a kiss,
Or the mortal rendition of bliss.
Now I have no more words
To describe this encounter
With him.
I know that we are far apart
And I count every forever that passes me by, for when I will run into his arms
And relive my birthday.
He told me told me not to give myself away to anyone until I fall in love.
I stopped myself in odd fear
Before I could reply,
What if I already fell in love with you?
