True Mirror

When you look in a mirror what do you see?
You may say that you see a face,
the same as always.
But if you look close enough
you will see your guilt.
It will be clawing at your skin trying to escape.
But that is not all.
Keep looking deeper,
if you look deep enough
you will see your very soul.

Now tell me what is the difference
between guilt and the soul?
That's right. There is none.

not so, in my humble opinion. guilt may take up most of the room, but somewhere in there, if you dig deep enough... is a gem.
