Leave it to the Breeze
As I walk through the forestThe dewdrops shudder as I tap the trees
It's my choice to make
And I choose to leave it to the breeze
But I must walk faster, quicker
To escape what time has set
A haze of brown and green around me
Holding me in a tightly-bound net
My heart screams with sonorous yelps
"Let go! Let go! You must leave it to the breeze!"
But I'm not ready to do that yet
For upon me the breeze shall seize
When can I be free at last?
When I think back to that tree I passed.
