A Love That Never Ends.
The tears once flowed in torrentsFrom this drained and empty well
Emotions once ran riot in this
All but empty shell
The joy of what was romance
Replaced by pain and loss of love
Years of hate and anger
Seeking faith from up above
And though it was forthcoming
I fear it comes to late
A soul in constant torment
Could not endure the wait
The heart beats like a hollow drum
Upon a barren battlefield
Emotions scattered to the wind
Their fate forever sealed
So why await a miracle
To rescue me by chance
When all I want is sweet release
To accept that final dance
Reunion with those I loved
That time cannot extend
To wash away the heartache
Of a love that never ends.
