A phone call today, sending me back to a person I used to be!!!
Best served cold
Anger is natural,
As one feels that they have been wronged,
Treated unfairly,
And thus, comes retribution,
As for example, apologies,
Compensation,
To the extreme, and eye for an eye,
A take from the now submissive,
It was told that vengeance,
Is a dish that is best served cold,
A forest, in which you can easily lose your way,
And in order to achieve,
You must first build two graves,
One for you enemy and one for your soul,
I say that vengeance is merely "priceless unsatisfaction",
It begins with a wrong-doing leading to anger,
And with anger, pride plays along to ensure,
That the strike will be swift and the guilty will be dealt with,
But it's never enough with vengeance,
A swear must be fufilled, not because of circled ears,
But because of the pride hearing the words from the vengeful lips,
And not one will pay, more will pay,
Blinded are they in the forest as the true effect is confirmed,
And priceless because,
Vengeance pricetag's is always out of reach,
How do you pay for something that will never stop feeding?,
On the enemy, the people around it and finally,
On the very soul, seeking a price,
That has just realized that they have lost their way,
A swear is a vow is their word,
And recklessly, everyone pays,
Everyone loses, like we do today,
Too many actions with no think-through,
Only blind action with and in some cases,
With extreme prejudice,
I see you there as I have been,
But I saw lost faster than you do,
Once you step, you can't turn back,
All you'll see is regret,
And all you can do is live with it,
It is the price you pay,
For the path you swore to choose,
