Pandora's box

A box told never to open
If it were opened the world would be a sin
Pain and agony inside
After the box is open there's nowhere to hide
There's one thing that satisfies
Not discouragement or lies
But a spark of hope
Put in the box to help people cope
To show a wrecked train is bound for glory
And not just to be a sad old story
If hope can last its way through all the bad
And still give off all the light it had
Shimmering through the streets and the air
To show even in the bad, very deep hope is still there

Hope is a wonderful thing and we must all brace it with open arms.
