I'll never learn from my mistakes unless I know I'm doing wrong

Jar O' Flies

I caught some flies
and kept them in a jar
I watched them fly
they didn't get very far

I plucked their wings
and watched them crawl
Now they're pulling strings
cause I killed them all

Oh, how I miss them now, but nevermind
I've still got the jar and plenty of flies to find

Zoya Zaidi
Some thing so eerie about it Line!
The metaphor of the jar and flies is well used!
Makes a powerful poem!
Welcome to the bay from my side!
Love, Zoya

I really like it. Great write. symbolism is intertwined but not overpowering the reality. I love it
