There's a Stranger Passing By
There's a stranger passing by.
He doesn't know how hard you try.
Your world is slowly falling apart.
There's no mercy for the weak of heart.
He strokes you gently by the cheek.
His eyes are fierce, his face is bleak.
"Heavens, you have certainly gone astray!
Come with me - I'll lead your way!"
I look into his eyes, those savages strange.
This world is not in order, this world is still deranged.
"But there's so much beauty I long to see!"
I raise my voice, I flee from thee.
But you're caught in the web, have no place to go.
No point in resisting now that you know.
Your time is up, it's time to die
when there's a stranger passing by!
