I Lose Myself Within These Walls
I lose myself within these walls,
within this sense of us.
Oh, how I wish to stay with you,
my beloved and precious.
The luggage that we carry
is holding us in chains.
The insecurities of future
are the only remains.
Dependence upon your loyalty
has blurred my every sight.
I long for independence
that lasts throughout the night.
You say one need to be secure
to love, to be able at all.
But is that really true for sure
I wonder as I bawl.
Yes,
I lose myself within these walls,
within this sense of us.
But how I wish to stay with you,
my beloved and precious.
