Someone very dear to my heart is going through some rough times and trying to better herself and make things right. She is struggling though, and I wish there was some way i could help her more.
He hoped and he prayed things would be alright.
His angel was trying to find her way,
for she once was lost and had gone astray.
However, she knew that which she must do;
repent of her sins before they came due.
And as that man sat in that cold, dark hour,
he prayed to God that he would find the power
to help his love get back on the right track,
to help her regain all that she had lacked.
And though the chill wind over him did blow,
he did not give in, nor did inside go.
His concern so great and compassion so
he was never cold though that wind did blow.
Now he thought to himself, 'What can I do
to help her succeed and always be true?'
At the brink of tears and ready to cry,
he turned up his head and looked to the sky.
'Dear God', he said', 'Help my love to be strong
so she can make right what once she did wrong.
Please give me the strength to stand by her side,
and be someone in which she can confide.'
When he was finished, he opened his eyes,
and there saw a sunrise, painting the skies.
This made him glad 'cause it meant a new day,
to help his angel out along her way.

Renewal
A lone man sat out one cold winter night. He hoped and he prayed things would be alright.
His angel was trying to find her way,
for she once was lost and had gone astray.
However, she knew that which she must do;
repent of her sins before they came due.
