The Angel With the Dagger
The angel with the dagger is slowly closing in.
You run as fast as you can, but you can't possibly win.
A dark and fearsom choir is humming intensely.
They announce your verdict, you are found guilty.
Small, malignant foetuses are holding you down.
You cannot seem to escape the gist of your hometown.
And now you get your sentence, the angel's drawing near.
The angel with the dagger, to shelter you from fear.
It's time to face the roots, the guilt of your own past.
It's hard to find reconciliation, a kind that truly lasts.
The angel hands you the dagger, the weapon of your wish.
Now kill the redundant emotions, the sorrow and anguish.
The choir is now silenced, the foetuses have all gone.
The angel with the dagger is welcoming the dawn.
And your race is finally over, on others you're able to depend.
A miracle to witness, when the circle comes to an end.
